All trainees should aim to meet with their Educational Supervisor every 3 months.

For 12 month placements this would mean:

  • Initial Meeting within first 2 weeks of starting
  • 3 months
  • Mid Point Review
  • 9 months
  • End of Placement Review (often pre-ARCP)

For 6 month placements:

  • Initial Meeting within first 2 weeks of starting
  • Mid Point Review
  • End of Placement Review

At each meeting you should discuss your PDP and progress towards these goals. This should be recorded in the lifelong learning platform (LLP).  You should prepare for each meeting by reviewing your portfolio against your PDP goals.
